My View on Marriage:

Many believe in and trust God for the right mate. I had to learn that God has a perfect will and a permissive will. We experience times when we make them right for us, not God. Because God is who He is, He allows us to move ahead with our decisions. Some survive some don't. My husband is teaching a six-week series on relationships at our church. Last Sunday, September 3, 2023, the topic was "Understanding Marriage." He made this statement that really made me think.

"It's not being the right one, but becoming the right one!"

We are looking for Mr. and Mrs. Right, not realizing that they don't exist because we all are imperfect individuals with so many flaws. However, when we read Matthew 19:5-6

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore god has joined together, let no man separate.

If you know that you have chosen this person and are willing to take a stand for righteousness's sake when it comes to your marriage; I just want to encourage you to work on becoming the right one for each other together. We all know that this is a process and can be challenging. Ask God to help you gain knowledge, understanding, and wisdom from Him so that your marriage can be a healthy example for others. Allow each other to evolve into the persons God created you to be. Thank you for reading. We love you all. Continue to enjoy the Lord's blessings.
