Dr. Tammy
Fordham Bell
Author & Songstress

I am Tammy Fordham Bell, the daughter of Bud and Margie Fordham from Leland, MS. I am the third child of six siblings. I along with my siblings have been singing gospel since the age of three. I graduated from Leland High School in May 1991. I received a BBA in Business Administration from Delta State University in May 1996. In 2013 I received a Ministry Development Institute (MDI) Diploma from ASCC School of Ministry. In May of 2016, I received a Master of Health Administration Degree from Belhaven University. In August of 2024, Tammy received her Doctor of Divinity Degree from the School of the Great Commission Theological Seminary.
I became a single mom to Tamera Sherika Thigpen in 1996. I married Eugene Bell in 2009. We are proud to be the parents of our lovely children. Together, we started our own ministry in 2017, His Way Christian Life Center. However, I am eternally grateful for my foundation from Agape Storge Christian Center Pastored by Dr. Thomas Paul Williams in Greenville, MS, where I was a member for over 24 years.
I am currently a Professional Health Educator II for University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Mercy Delta Express Project in Sharkey County. God has graced me to make a difference in the lives of others by advocating a holistic approach in teaching skills to all so they can make wise decisions today that will positively affect their tomorrow.
In 2014, I received the Myrlie Evers-Williams Rural Health Champion Award for my dedication and service to rural Communities in Mississippi. I am currently the Author and Songstress of Unspoken: Unveiling Secrets, which was released in September 2022. I published my first TransforMEd journal in October 2024. One of the most important aspects of my life is knowing and serving God. My service to you would be nothing without God. Every assignment is significant, and your life is vital to me. I am thankful and honored to bless you and give you the love and truth that God has given me.
Unspoken
Unveiling Secrets
At a time when abuse is affecting individuals’
mental health, the author recounts her experiences
with sexual abuse and how it negatively impacted
her life in a variety of ways. She details how she
managed to overcome and grow from these trials
through religion and by educating others on how to
deal with the aftereffects.
